We have to admit that we were skeptical at first, but the matte nail trend is going strong. Sephora just launched a matte collection for their longstanding collaboration with OPI. Sephora By OPI Matte is available in three of the most popular Sephora by OPI Nail Lacquer shades. The three limited edition matte colors available are Domestic Goddess (matte bright grape), Metro Chic (matte dark smoke with a hint of purple) and Where’s a Tire Jack? (matte black). The matte collection retail for $9 each and is available at Sephora stores and sephora.com.

We picked up this L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation ($11) at our local CVS, and have been surprisingly pleased thus far. The texture and coverage are nice, and the shade matching really is as good as Beyonce says. It doesn't darken or yellow as it dries like most drugstore foundations. It also didn't break out our super sensitive skin, which is rare.

It definitely stays on all day, and while we wish it had a higher SPF (skin cancer is not sexy), the protection factor of 17 that it does have isn't half bad. Great buy for $11. The stuff stays, but it settles really deep, so substitute some concealer on your more delicate, line-prone spots.
